It’s been a whirlwind!

We’ve had an epic adventure so far and criss crossed our way through 3 countries!

We loved the excitement and hustle bustle of Barcelona, the gentle mountains and peaceful life of Narila, the passion of Granada, the magnificance of Seville and laid back chill of Malaga and Nerja.

In Spain we were lucky enough to connect with Quinn’s son Jake and Rachel’s daughter came and stayed with us for 6 weeks in parts of Spain and Portugal!

After spending about a little over a month in Spain, we headed for the small fishing village of Fuseta, Portugal, set on the sunny southern Algharve!  We spent time along the coast and ended up in Albuferia for Halloween and Olhao for Thanksgiving.   Next, we worked our way up to Lisbon and Sintra which was absolutely our favorite place so far!

Frankly, we were getting a bit cold as winter was starting to set in and we decided to scrap our winter Europe plans and follow the sun to South Africa!  It was a crazy trip with unseen Covid test expenditures, long flights and lost luggage but we finally made it!

We hung in Joburg for a bit before making our way to beautiful Sabie, Mpumlanga!  There we met our wonderful new friend Trudie who has been our guide for this beautiful area of Mpumlanga!

We had an amazing trip to Kruger National Park which is mind blowing and we’ve spent lots of time exploring the nature of Sabie, aptly titled “The City of Waterfalls…   there is natural beauty all over this place unlike anything we have ever seen and anytime something goes wrong we just say, “At least we have Elephants and Zebras here!”
