Welcome to the Humanity Project!
I originally came to Cairo, Egypt as a way to enter Gaza but like everyone else, became stuck there until the borders are open. I was quickly joined by an international group of volunteers and many local Egyptians as well and we started putting our heads together to see what we could do while we were waiting to get into Gaza. As we started to develop projects and teams and get to work I realized we needed some organization and “The Humanity Project” was born. We now have a large What’s App Community where we communicate and have groups from 17 countries.
My vision for this collective is simple…. Let it be a place of peace where like minded individuals from around the world gather in community, support each other and implement projects to assist humanity while amplifying the voices of local voices and organizations. We will operate slowly and methodically with a commitment to doing things the right way and creating a sustainable program which can serve humanity for the “long haul.” This community has started by being in solidarity with Gaza but recognizes that there are needs all over the world and we want to be prepared to respond to these as we grow in size and capability.
This is the place where you can plug in with us, join us on a trip, connect with us on the ground, support us and finally, a place where you can find ways to be involved in this project from anywhere in the world. Enter, “The Humanity Project,” a community of regular people who have come together to spread humanity around the globe!

OUR CURRENT PROJECTS
Project: Aid to Gaza
Background:
In light of the critical humanitarian situation in Gaza, several organizations have joined forces to facilitate the transportation and distribution of aid. Currently, trucks carrying aid are entering through the Rafah borders and are primarily reaching the southern areas of Gaza.
However, there is a pressing need to expand the reach of aid and ensure its efficient distribution across the region. The mission of this project is to establish reliable and credible partnerships with organizations involved in aid transportation, monitor the process, and ensure transparency in aid distribution. Additionally, the project aims to address gaps in the existing process and identify unmet needs.
We currently have vetted organizations to donate and volunteer with on our website. www.quinntheeskimorocks.com
Key Objectives:
1. Finding Reliable Organizations: The project seeks to identify trustworthy organizations involved in aid transportation and distribution. These organizations will be carefully selected to ensure the safe and effective delivery of aid to Gaza. It is crucial to establish communication channels with distribution teams in Gaza to ensure transparency, receive updates on the situation, and understand the current needs on the ground.
2. Volunteers and Packaging: Volunteers will be recruited to assist with packaging the aid in warehouses located in Cairo. Their efforts will help prepare the aid for transportation, ensuring its proper handling and organization before it reaches Gaza.
3. Monitoring and Documentation: The project aims to document the entire process, from the collection of aid to its distribution. Accompanying the aid trucks to Alaresh-Sienna will provide a firsthand account of the journey and increase transparency. This documentation will serve as evidence of the aid’s proper handling and reassure donors about the integrity of the project.
4. Fundraising Activities: Fundraising efforts will be crucial to sustain and expand the aid project. The project encourages individuals and organizations in your country to find a reputable organization with a donation collection permit. This will allow for the establishment of a separate account dedicated to aid fundraising. Various fundraising activities can be organized to raise funds and increase public awareness of the urgent needs in Gaza.
5. Bridging Gaps and Connecting Suppliers: Identifying gaps in the aid process is essential to ensure comprehensive coverage of the needs in Gaza. By connecting suppliers with organizations involved in the project and aligning aid selection with the guidelines provided by the Red Crescent and Gaza groups, the project can address specific needs more effectively.
Ways to Help:
- Find a Permit-Carrying Organization: Identify an organization in your country that possesses a permit to collect donations and establish a separate account dedicated to aid fundraising. This will provide a transparent and accountable channel for receiving and managing donations.
- Fundraising Activities: Engage in fundraising activities within your country to generate financial support for the aid project. These activities can include charity events, awareness campaigns, online appeals, or collaborations with local businesses and community groups.
- Find the Vetted Organizations that we send trucks in with on Quinn’s website and make donations straight to them. You may make individual donations or donate through your organization and we will add your organizations logo to the aid trucks and document them going in for you.
- Increase Awareness: Raise awareness about the urgent needs in Gaza through social media platforms, community gatherings, and local media outlets. Sharing stories, photos, and updates about the situation can help mobilize support and encourage others to contribute.
- Communicate with Supportive Organizations: Establish connections with organizations in your country that are willing to support the aid project. These organizations may prefer to contribute outside of government aid lines, and establishing communication channels will facilitate coordination and collaboration.
- Share Documents for Transparency: Share relevant documents from Egyptian and Gaza groups with potential donors to ensure transparency and build trust. These documents can provide insights into the aid distribution process, the impact of donations, and the ongoing needs on the ground.
By actively participating in this project and leveraging the resources available in your country, we can collectively make a significant impact on the lives of those in need in Gaza. Let us unite our efforts, spread awareness, and extend a helping hand to our Palestinian brothers and sisters.
Together, we can bring hope and relief to Gaza.
Project: Displaced Palestinians in Egypt Advocacy
Background:
In the aftermath of the recent conflicts, many Palestinians who have been injured or are in critical condition are being transferred to hospitals in Egypt for urgent medical care. Currently, the number of transfers is relatively small, but it is anticipated that there will be a significant increase once ceasefire agreements are established. In preparation for this influx, it is crucial to organize and coordinate medical volunteer groups to provide assistance and support.
In addition, we have identified over 500 Palestinians already that are displaced. Many were. Here going to school or traveling or here for a medical procedure before October 7th and now are stuck here with no way to return, no way to reach their families in many cases and most are not only traumatized but. Without the necessities to survive here.
Objectives:
Create Care Packages: These are boxes that we. Will deliver. Filled with the basics neccesitites for survival and dignity and will include food items, clothing. Items, hygiene items and more. We are. Working. With a local Palestinian organization to identify the people to delver to.
Mobilizing Medical Volunteers: The project aims to connect medical personnel who are willing to volunteer their expertise with the relevant organizations involved in providing medical care to Palestinians in Egypt. By establishing this connection, volunteers can be effectively deployed to hospitals where their skills are needed the most. We have linked up with a local doctors clinic who will work with these Professionals. We need medical doctors as well as Trauma Counselors and are currently working to find a Volunteer House for them here in Cairo.
Supporting Injured Families: The project recognizes the challenges faced by injured Palestinians and their families during their stay in Egypt. It seeks to provide assistance in various ways, such as helping families navigate the healthcare system, accessing necessary resources, and offering emotional support. By offering a helping hand, the project aims to alleviate the burdens faced by the injured and their families during their time in Egypt.
Mental Health Support Program: While this project focuses primarily on advocacy and support within hospitals, it acknowledges the importance of addressing the mental health needs of Palestinians affected by the conflict. Therefore, a separate mental health support program can be initiated to provide counseling services and psychological support to those who require it. This program will be developed and implemented in collaboration with mental health professionals and organizations.
We are also putting together a professional training program in order to train our Palestinian and Egyptian volunteers in aiding in this project.
Legal Program: Many of these people need legal help for things like documents, visas, identification cards and assorted other paperwork items.
Ways to Help:
1. Medical Personnel: If you are a medical professional and would like to volunteer your skills and expertise, please reach out to us. We will connect you with the appropriate organizations involved in providing medical care to Palestinians in Egyptian hospitals. Your contribution can make a significant difference in saving lives and providing quality care to those in need.
2. Assisting Injured Families: Support is needed to ensure that injured Palestinians and their families receive the necessary assistance during their stay in Egypt. If you are willing to offer your time and resources to help these families navigate the healthcare system, access resources, or provide emotional support, please join our efforts.
3. Mental Health Professionals: If you are a mental health professional or have experience in the field, your expertise is invaluable in establishing a mental health support program. By participating in this program, you can contribute to the overall well-being and resilience of Palestinians affected by the conflict.
Project: Global Kite Project for Gaza
Background:
The children of Gaza set a remarkable world record in 2011 by flying the most kites simultaneously at Al-Waha beach, with an astounding number of 12,350 kites. This event showcased the resilience and spirit of the children in Gaza. To express solidarity and support for these children, we propose organizing workshops worldwide where kids can paint kites with Palestinian colors and patterns. These kites will then be flown simultaneously on a designated date across various locations.
Objective:
The Global Kite Project aims to engage children from around the world in an act of solidarity with the children of Gaza. By organizing kite painting workshops and encouraging kite flying, we seek to raise awareness and demonstrate our support for the children in Gaza.
Implementation:
1. Organize Workshops: Workshops will be held in various locations, inviting children to come together and paint kites with Palestinian colors and patterns. These workshops will follow guidelines provided by the project to ensure a consistent theme and message. Local community centers, schools, or organizations can host these workshops, fostering creativity and cultural exchange.
2. Increase Awareness: Promote the Global Kite Project through various channels to raise awareness about the situation in Gaza and the significance of the event. Utilize social media platforms, local media outlets, and community networks to share the project’s goals, inspire participation, and spread the message of solidarity. Collaborate with influencers, organizations, and individuals passionate about supporting children’s rights and peace.
3. Set the Date: Once the workshops are completed, a specific date will be set for the global kite flying event. This date should be widely communicated to ensure maximum participation and impact. Coordination with participants and organizers worldwide will be essential to synchronize the kite flying and build a sense of unity.
4. Fly the Kites: On the designated day, participants from different countries and communities will take their painted kites to open spaces and fly them simultaneously. This collective act will symbolize solidarity, hope, and the shared aspirations for a brighter future for the children of Gaza.
Ways to Support:
1. Organize Workshops: If you are interested in hosting a kite painting workshop, follow the project’s guidelines and collaborate with local community centers, schools, or organizations. Ensure a safe and inclusive environment where children can express their creativity and learn about the significance of the project.
2. Increase Awareness: Utilize your personal and professional networks to spread the word about the Global Kite Project. Share information about the project, its objectives, and the impact it can have in supporting the children of Gaza. Engage with local media outlets, social media platforms, and community groups to amplify the project’s message.
3. Fly the Kite: Participate in the global kite flying event by taking your painted kite to an open space on the designated day. Encourage others to join and share photos and stories of the experience on social media using project-specific hashtags. By doing so, you will contribute to a global display of solidarity and support.
Please visit our dedicated website for further information, including guidelines, resources, and updates on the Global Kite Project. Together, let’s empower children worldwide to express their solidarity and support for the children of Gaza through the universal joy of flying kites.
Project: Letters from The World
Background:
This project is designed to allow people from around the world to support the Palestinian people by writing them a letter. One of the things that the Palestinians suffer with is not knowing the support that they have around the world. We hear their voices and we want to let them know!
Objectives:
1. Create a platform where people can submit letters via an email address
2. We have an English coordinator and an Arabic coordinator to sort through these letters, remove any trolls, translate them all into Arabic and then categorize the letters for distribution.
3. We will distribute the letters in both printed and email form in various ways and also deliver the email address to a Palestinian organization on the ground for further distribution in their way.
4. We will find some “gems,” letters that truly touch the heart. These will be turned into a book called “Letters to Gaza” and sold to raise money for Aid projects.
Ways to Help:
- Email letters to: Quinnslettersoflove@gmail.com
- Start a project where you go to schools or other groups and bring awareness about the situation and then have people write letters.
Project: Collaborative Music Video
We are working with local Egyptian musicians to create and distribute a collaborative music video for al social media platforms in order to continue and bring awareness and keep Gaza in the spotlight as this drags on.
Project: Humanitarian Trip Guidebook
We have had many groups ask us how they can come in and help and as we have researched this topic we have started to create a Humanitarian Trip Guidebook. The. Gaza’s will need help and support for a very long time and. We will need many volunteers to come in. We want to make this a smooth and effective process and so. The guidebook contains all of the information needed to plan and implement a trip to Gaza to help.
This includes organizations to work with in both Cairo and Gaza, cultural basics, language basics, how to travel, who to travel with, safety and security precautions, equipment lists and more. We are also working with a trained professional in this field to develop a program to introduce volunteers to the experience and prepare them mentally and emotionally and then another program on their way out to help them process this experience.
Project: People of Palestine
One of our fabulous members is spearheading this project which includes a blog and podcast and interviews many of the Palestinians that we are working with and meeting and tells their stories.
Where to Connect with me on Social Media
I’m on all platforms but use them differently. Here’s a breakdown:
Clapper
This will be the main app where I share footage of my trip to Gaza. They have assured me that they will not take any videos down and they want to see the truth. I will also be doing my live streaming on this app and I run a very active Group on there where people from around the world are getting to know each other and supporting humanity. Join us on Clapper!
TikTok and Instagram
I post daily to TikTok and Instagram but unfortunately many of the videos are taken down and live streams are continually banned. I’ll keep sharing there as long as I am able, but footage from the trip to Gaza is likely to be very filtered.
Youtube
I will be starting to post trip footage to YouTube and will have more long form content as well as interviews with people on the ground on this channel.
I will be cross posting content here as well. I am not particularly active on this platform and I simply post and don’t engage there.
Telegram
I run an update channel on Telegram which is simply a way for me to give you quick updates from the ground as well as publishing live stream schedules and meet-ups wherever I am. This is NOT a chat group, simply updates from Quinn. If you want to chat with me and others join the Clapper group!
Podcast
I’ll be podcasting and sharing stories of the trip and the people I meet here!
