So, we’re in a bit of a conundrum….. we were planning on leaving for Spain on August 1st and so we ended our lease on our aprtment in Anna Maria.  However, then the AirBnb contest came up and we don’t find out if we win until August.  So, our choices are that we find some place to rent for a month or we Vagabond.   We elected to Vagabond!

Basically, here’s our plan…

We’re going to spend week one camping in the Florida Keys from Key Largo to Key West.  We’re planning on hitting the Christ of the Abyss statue at John Pennencamp Coral Reef State Park, driving through Bahia Honda and ending up in Key West.  From there we’re going to Miami for a couple of nights to visit a high school friend that I haven’t seen in 35 years.

For the rest of the month we’re going to try and secure a couple of Airbnb contractd that will basically allow us to live for free while we help someone redesign and market their Airbnb.

We’re a little nervous but we’re excited!  Wish us luck!
