I’ve spent the last two years making my home in Cairo and doing everything I can to advocate for the Palestinians. During this time, we’ve launched many successful projects, but my goal has always been to build these up and then turn them over to the local people in this phase is now complete.
For the last five months, I have been planning my next step, and I’ve been asking myself important questions:
- What can I do to take this advocacy to the next level?
- How can I reach Western audiences and help educate them on the things that I have learned by being here?
- How can I best continue to advocate for the dismantling of the genocidal state of Israel and its funding by Western allies?
- How can I continue to advocate against the rising Islamophobia in Western societies?
- How can I use what I learned in building the Humanity Project community and build an even stronger, worldwide, purposeful community designed to create change in the world?
- How can I become more proactive in my advocacy and less reactive?
After much thought and advice from many people that I admire and trust, I have decided that the best thing I can do is move back to a Western country and tailor my messages to my own people. I have no intention of going back to America, and I had long decided to go to Ireland, the home of my ancestors, to get my citizenship there. This coincides perfectly with my new initiative, and I think that Ireland will be a fantastic place to set up shop and go to work.
I have developed a multifaceted plan, which includes the following:
- I will be launching a new community designed to take what we learned in our previous community and put it on steroids! This community is called OohMah, and it will be launched on a secure, professional community development software called Mighty Networks. This will allow us to build a massive, powerful community that can create a change around the world. You can learn more about OohMah here.
- I will be launching a new studio designed to put out shows and podcasts. I will be launching my own project, the Quinn O’Flynn show, and I’m super excited to share more about this with you! In addition, I will be centering on mentoring other creators and helping them launch their own initiatives as well. I will be using this studio to bring together amazing people from not only around Ireland, but around the world. You can learn more about my goals with the studio and the Quinn O’Flynn show here.
How can you help?
- I will be basing my activities in the Cork area, and if you are in that area and would like to help with these projects, I would love to connect with you!
- Donate property! Do you have a house or a building that we can use as a studio somewhere in the Cork, Ireland area? That would be an amazing help!
- Donate! The studio is going to cost me about $6000 to set up initially and then about $3000 a month to run.
- Join the OohMah community pre-launch!
- Buy my books!
- Pass the word!
