I’m headed south again for 3 months and starting off in the heart of the Yucatan Pennisula; Cancun!  I’ll be leaving there pretty quickly and going exploring the Cenotes, the Mayan ruins and backpacking from Hostel to Hostel along the coast.  Here’s some places I plan on spending some time!

Valladolid

This quaint little town will serve as my base to explore the famous pink lakes, incredible Mayan ruins and chill to the slow paced Mexican life!

Las Coradas

One of the places we’ll journey to is Las Coradas, famous for rthe beautiful pink colored lakes!

Tulum

Tulum is a popular beach town south 0f Cancun and known as a Bohemian Hippie paradise!  The beaches are heavenly, the jungle and the cenotes plentiful and there’s always a party in Tulum!

Merida

No visit to the Yucatan is complete without visiting the colorful capital city of the penninsula!  From there I’ll visit some smaller towns in the area like Campeche, which comes highly recommended!

Akumal

I’ll drop by this snorkeling paradise on the way south to to Tulum!

I’m interested in hitting Sian Ka’an, Luguna Bacalar, Palenque and Isla Mujeres as well!  Any other places I should go?

From Mexico I’ll be headed across the border into Belize and spend some time at the beautiful Caye Caulker.

I’m think of hopping over to Honduras to Utila as well to do some scuba diving and then I’ll be headed into Guatemala for a month!  Stay tuned and follow along!
