So, for those of you who have been following us for a while know, we have been planning a yearlong trip around the world inspired by AirBnb’s Long Term Stay program. We had planned to leave on August 1st for Spain to start this journey but just recently we found out that AirBnb had launched a major contest to promote this program and the prize is a year of free travel!  Amazeballs!!

We have applied for the contest and we hope ( and feel confident) that we’ve got a great chance of winning.  All we know so far is that they will announce the winners in July, there will be some meetings and planning in August and then travel starts in September.   As such, we have adjusted our leave date to be September 1st!  We’ll either be travelling with AirBnb or on our own!

Wow, So what will you do until then?

Good question.  Our lease expires on August 1st so basically we’re homeless!  Woo-Hoo!  Nothing like jumping right into this digital nomad life!   

Actually, we’re really excited about this…  we can’t release too much yet but basically what we are planning is to find a cheap AirBnb somewhere and actually spend a month with several other digital nomads working together on some creative projects.
