What an Amazing AirBnb Find!
Sometimes AirBnb’s are good, sometimes they’re not so good and sometimes they are absolutely fantastic and you never want to leave! We had the latter experience at Maria’s Cozy Cottage C in Homestead, FL.
From the moment we arrived at the property we were whisked away into a jungle paradise, a quiet, safe oasis in the middle of the city. Maria and her husband have built 3 little cottages in the middle of their working plant farm and so you are literally surrounded by a beautiful nursery full of plants. Her husband calls it La Finca en la Cuidad, The Farm within the city.
The rooms are simple, clean and well prepared by Maria. There was water, bug spray, suntan lotion, directions to nearby places, brochures for excursions and more! It seems that she had thought of everything! The front porch was delightful and sunrise and sunset were particularly beautiful over the nursery!
The crown jewel was Maria’s arrival in the morning with a small branch from one of her trees. It was covered in small, beautiful fruits that she had brought us to eat for breakfast!!
The location also, is perfect! Homestead, FL is the gateway to the Florida Keys and is situated halfway between Miami and Key Largo and just miles away from the East entrance to the Everglades National Park! We took multiple excursions during our time at Cozy Cottage C and it was always a peaceful, wonderful feeling returning home!
